Staff Rules
You should read all position rules listed
below. IF you have a problem with an of the rules, then you should not apply
for ANY position. Please remember we do consider everyone that applies for
staff. However, not everyone can be on staff. If you don't get staff, then
there will be other times for you to apply. Just make sure you have been
a good resident afterall, staff can turn out to be 'bad' and have their privs
removed.
After reading below you are to send an email to trouble_talker@hotmail.com
It should include your name on the talker, what position you
would like to apply for , and what makes you think you should be choosen
for the position.
GENERAL RULES FOR STAFF:
1 All staff are expected to be logged into Trouble if they are logged
on to other talkers. NO EXCEPTION.
2. If you have a problem with any other staff member and you don't
feel comfortable going to the level above yours, then please feel free and
comfortable to talk to a HCA. That
is why they are here.
3. IF YOU ARE FOUND ABUSING YOUR POWERS AGAINST RESIDENTS YOU WILL
BE REMOVED FROM STAFF IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT ANY FARTHER
DISCUSSION. BEST WAY TO PREVENT THIS IS TO USE THE WARNINGS AND LOG ALL CONVOS
THAT ARE INVOLVED WITH YOU USING YOUR POWERS. THIS
DOESN'T INCLUDE WHEN YOU PLAY WITH OTHER STAFF WITH YOUR POWERS!
PSU:
PSU will be persons that are training for staff positions.
This person could be at PSU level from a few days upto months. This position
is for people that are trying to show they will be at TROUBLE and make an
effort to bring other residents to the talker. Depending on their behavior
at this level, they may progress on up to SU. This position will be allowed
to create socials. PSU will reportto SU level with any problems.
SU:
SU will be around to help residents with commands
and other simple problems (ie mail, news, desc, title, room, etc.). This
level of staff will be able to create socials, give residence, deal with
'bad' residents to a limit, and must reportto ASU. This is a position that
requires a person to be mature and know how to deal with 'unruly' people.
You must be able to distinguish between 'unruly' and 'trouble maker.'
ASU:
ASU will be incharge of seeing that all socials created
are within reason. ASU will also be able to make items. You will be
the one incharge of keeping records at all staff meetings. Again this is
a mature postion, and requires a mature person to deal with their position.
IF a SU can not solve a problem with a resident, you are the next inline
to deal with the problem at hand. You will reportto Lower_Admin.
LOWER_ADMIN:
Lower_admin will be incharge of fixing any problems
to do with socials and monitoring items that are created. L_A will see over
PSU, SU and ASU and reportto Admin any problems that could arrise or that
is happening with lower staff or residents. You will be responsible with
keeping conversations that are suitable to everyone going with residents
in main rooms.
LOWER_ADMIN:
Lower_admin will be incharge of fixing any problems
to do with socials and monitoring items that are created. L_A will see over
PSU, SU and ASU and reportto Admin any problems that could arrise or that
are happening with lower staff or residents. You will be responsible with
keeping conversations that are suitable to everyone going with residents
in main rooms.
ADMIN:
Admin is next to the most important of staff. YOU
are to see that ONLY emergency problems get beyond your level and to a HCADMIN.
Emergency would be someone trashing our talker, over abuse of staff powers,
someone that requests to be nuked(u redirect them to HCA), or other staff
that refuse to listen to you about reasonable things u are demanding or requesting
to be done. You reportto HCADMIN. Admin, will be incharge of seeing that
everyone on staff is making an effort to log time at Trouble and those who
are not pulling their weight on staff are to be spoken to individually. You
are not to take privs from other staff without a HCA approving it. You are
incharge of seeing that the SUMOTD is changed as needed by getting with Shyanna.
You will be incharge of things when no HCA are present, therefore you will
beheld responsible of all actions of staff and residents. You will be the
one in trouble if things aren't handled by other staff properly. You are
incharge of the daily needs of Trouble.
HCADMIN:
The HCA will be choosen according to their ability
to be mature in situations that deem neccessary. The HCA will be the people
other levels of staff go to when they have a problem with other staff. HCA
will be responsible for logging all bug problems so that the coders can fix
them properly. ONLY YOU will be able to NUKE a resident or remove or change
privs for staff. You are required to be the silent body of Trouble as far
as problems go unless problems are not handled properly. Basically you are
the final decision on all things, you help think up new ways to reward staff,
and you think of new ways to improve the talker (ie new commands and rooms).
Also, this is the deciding bodies that gives everyone on staff a 'job' to
be done.
