W. Axl Rose was born in 1962, Lafayette, IN. He grown up with Izzy who was also born in Lafayette, IN. Together they called the town 'Bumfuck', IN. In 1979 Izzy dropped out of high school and went to California. Axl later followed and went looking for his high school buddy. After searching most of LA and Hollywood, he found Izzy in Fullerton, CA. He and Izzy were in and out of many bands apart and together. At one point Izzy and Axl was in a band called Hollywood Rose.
Axl was always someone who called everyone's attention. Great singer, he was truly the one who found Guns N' Roses, of course he didn't do that alone, but he was the one that called everyone from the band to really make the best Rock N' Roll band in the world. That's why Guns N' Roses sounds very similar to Rock N' Roll.
W. Axl Rose left home and decided to change his name. His new name became W. Axl Rose (W.A.R), W. for his real name, Axl and Rose for band's purpose. After a couple of years, Axl finally bought the name Guns N' Roses and became owner of the band's rights.
He was arrested a lot of times, and if you'll excuse me, all the times UNFAIRLY. That included a lot of shows, including Rock n' Rio in Brazil, Japan and even he was charged by his own neighbor.
Axl is now disappeared. I don't have news from him for 9 months, since the fax he sent to MTV from Burning Hills, California. MTV tried to reach him for many ways but 'til now haven't got any answers, all they know is that Axl wasn't seen for a long time.
After marrying his girlfriend, Erin, he became into a sad life. Some months later they broke up and after that, Axl received a lot of charges from his ex-wife. She could take 200,000 $ from him after the divorce.
Axl is more than a singer, he is the spirit of Guns N' Roses and I, personally, think that we'll never have Guns N' Roses without W. Axl Rose. Yes, he has his way of life and some kind of 'ownership' of the band with the other band members, but if we'd really think about it, we would see that this is nothing, lass than 0,00001% of what Guns N' Roses can do with Axl and all other members togheter. They already shown this, and that's why they became the greatest Rock N' Roll band in the world, for a long time, since 1986 to 1992 and now they SHALL return and the history will become complete.
W. Axl Rose lost many close friends these last years, including West Arkeen, Shanon Hood, even Giani Versace's murder. To me, that's why he's missing and disappeared. He wants to stay alive so he can return and make the best music that our ears EVER heard. Guns N' Roses ISN'T dead, and the return will be full of glory.
Now let's just wait for a little time and Axl will return, with Slash, Izzy, Matt and the others to make another album. I think that the lyrics will be a lot deeper than the other albums, because the band has learned a lot these years, is mature, bad things happened, sad stories, now..
