 Other interesting tid-bits:

* The Matchsticks recorded "Yourself or Someone Like You" in 1hr. and 30 mins. !!  (They're just so talented.. :0)

* The picture of the little boy in the lyric liner was Rob's ex-girlfriend's nephew at  2.5 years old.  He grew up, only to commit suicide.

* According to VH1, Rob cut his arm while chained to the wall when taping the "Push" video. (poor Rob !)

* On VH1 they said that the director made three crew members stand outside with hoses to make it seem like it was raining in the 3am video at the end. Hey they did a good job, I thought it was rain Gina  (Well, they fooled me too~  I guess that's ummm...Hollywood for ya' *tee hee*)

* Have you noticied the television station's sign that Rob works at in the Real World video??  It says "Telequedad" - meaning" margarita without salt"....Hmmmm.. (please hand me the "Telequedad" - i think I'm lonley now..)   Linz

* Rob once saw Dave Navarro and Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers running around a hotel in their undies at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas show -- I guess this was a big thing for him... Thanks Kodie

^^  So you're wondering where they got the album name...It was Rob and Paul's idea.^^
* Rob and Paul were kinda' drunk *giggle* in and LA cafe, and a girl was there playing a song for "Yourself, or Someone Like You".  Rob and Paul liked it so they called up their record company and changed the album name.  It was supposed to be called "Woodshed Diaries" .  (I like "Yourself better.  What about you? )

* The guys hated touring in the beginning, when they weren't playing for big crowds.

* Push was filmed in L.A.

What the Matchsticks would be doing...instead of being Matchsticks:

*Rob:  "A flower delivery guy, because everyone you meet is happy to see you. They open the door and they go 'aahh.. flowers'.  Everyone loves you. "

*Paul: "A teacher, but not the whole college thing."

* Kyle: an UPS man (I get to answer the door!)

Some interesting tid-bit about the matchstick's tour bus:
 * On the front of their tour bus they have a zebra head which they have affectionatley named "Willie" after Willie Nelson.  -Rick Dee's Weekly Top 40  (kinda' sounds like a Brain idea ~~ i wonder if Willie Nelson knows about this!)

* The matchstick's tour bus driver is Frank Mitchel.  A Little Bit Rusty

* Rob bought a koala stuffed animal in Australia - and now it's his traveling companion!!  That's adorable!!  Can you imagine Rob (yum..) carrying around a koala bear!!

* The Oct. 29th, 1997 Atlanta show at the Roxy, with a 1500 seat capacity sold out in a mere 5 HOURS!!! (umm....ok, I think I'll go a few hours earlier than when the tix. actually go on sale...they're some pretty popular boys!!)

* Umm... Ixnay on the above fact - the Matchsticks broke their own record - the concert in Atlanta on Rob's bithday, Feb. 14th 1998, sold out in an amazing 4 MINUTES!!  (They broke Pearl Jam's record of 17 minutes.  Go matchbox20!!  kinda' makes the 5 hour one in Atlanta look puny... huh?  Props to the fans in Atlanta - you guys are awesome!)

My Mom almost got one of those shirts at the show we went to -- you might as well say that matchbox20 stole me - at least my mind...

* In the L.A. alley where Push was shot (over a 3 days, by the way) Spawn was also filmed there!!  (Wow!  Popular alley!!  A new LA tourist attraction! Yeah - shagedelic baby yeah!!  I'd pay to go there!! - I can just see me --"awww!! This is were Pauly's drum set was!!" :)

* Kyle said that Back 2 Good is the last single off YOSLY. (they said they all like that song, esp. Rob) (oooo!!  I can't wait until the video!!)

* YOSLY debuted at #193 on the Billboard music charts.

* Rob and Paul love bad reviews - they said they keep the really saucy, clever ones.  One of their faves calls mb20 "bland and timid American music" - so Rob and Paul said to watch for new mb20 t-shirts - kinda in a dictionary defintion "matchbox20: bland, timid American music"

* Thanks to Pauly for coming up with the name "matchbox20", because without him - we would all love a band named "Joanie Loves Chachi" or "Big Shoe Spider"!!

* The Real World video is the guy's fave video so far. (becuase they had more control in making it than the other vids.) People

*After High School he went to the Atlanta Institute of Music.  (where he says he didn't learn jack)

* Adam is Jewish.

* Adam only paints his thumb and pinky of his left hand.  (Don't ask me why!?)

* Adam taught himself how to play the guitar.  When he was 10, his sister got to take guitar lessons, and of course she got all of this attention from their relatives and family, so Adam secretly stole his sister's guitar and taught himself how to play.  (Isn't that the CUTEST thing you've ever heard - Adam sneaking off with his sister's guitar!  Thanks Adam's sister for taking guitar lessons and making your brother feel jealous - or none of us would know Adam!)

* It was Adam's idea to put the shoe sizes on the lyirc thingy. (What can I say,  You guys are goofballs ;o)

* Adam's nickname is "Hashbrown". (He nicknamed himself) (yipee!  now we know what to make Adam for breakfast when he comes over!)

Sorry!!  I got this fact off the Internet a site I forgot where... and as Rob says, " I come on the Internet to see what I've done" - meaning 'Wow!~ i didn't know I spent the whole night last night with a blond at the bar?!?!'  So what I'm saying is some of the stuff is false - who knows - maybe some on this page is wrong too... So I was watching Pop Up Video yesterday and just happened to catch Push !!  So the Pop up Video thingy said that * Rob's leather jacket in the Push video was new and that it cost $2,000 (yea - that's 3 zeros!!) Sorry for all you guys that used the fact for your page.  I think the $2000 thing is a little crazy -- it doesn't seem like Rob to spend that much money on a jacket - does it??  I don't know - Just think whatever you want baby!!  Maybe you can ask Rob someday -- keep on surfin'!!

* Born on a German military base in 1972.

* He is 5'9".

* Rob quit a job after only 2 days because he didn't want to wear the little red hat!!  (That is SO funny !! :0)

* Rob's first concert he ever *wanted* and went to was "Genesis" The Invisible Touch Tour  (Thanks Rolling Stone )

* Rob lost 30 lbs. so he could look all-the-more-sexier in the Push video for us!!  (Awww, Rob!!  You didn't have to do that!!  We love you anyways babY!)  VH1's Pop Up video

* Rob has 3 tatoos.  Morgan will soon have pictures of all of them at her Rob site!  Oooo - Hot!  Check e'm out! (He got his first one in 9th grade!)

* If Rob could do a duet with one female atrist, he would choose Ani DiFranco.  (WooHOo!  That duet would ROCK!!)

*Rob has a chipped front tooth that he got at an evening of slam dancing in Palm Beach, FL.  Thanks emily
