P.O.D. is one of my favorite bands, easy. Their lyrics influence Christians as well as non-Christians.
They are probably best described as rap-core (hard-core with some rap for the ig-nant).
One of the things I love about the band is that since their first album "Snuff the Punk",
there haven't been any changes in band members.

They've stayed true to the cause of reaching the lost and not sold out like other unnamed bands.
They've stayed together Through Thick & Thin. (for those who get that---you're down,
for those who don't---you betta ax somebody.)

They're second album "Brown" (acronym for Believe Receive Obtain Withstand Never die) just blew up. Though the first one was good, this is beyond mere compliments. It would take hand motions to explain how dope ("cool" for the ig-nant) this album is. Right when you think they've outdone themselves, they release a Live album. For those who've seen them in concert, you know what you're in for, for the poor souls who haven't had that privelege, I'll pray for you. GET their Live CD. My friend and I slept outside a Christian bookstore just to get it. I'll post a story about it as soon as I write it. It'll be in a theater near you. The CD wasn't even there the next day when it was supposed to be, but it was about the dedication to P.O.D., not merely a CD.
