Rolling Stone magazine about this CD :
With a sound compared to the Cranberries and Throwing Muses, Antwerp, Belgium rockers K's Choice first gained local attention with a home-recorded live tape, signing to Belgian indie label Double T Music. Originally called the Choice, the band changed their name to K's Choice when they signed to Sony Music in 1994 to avoid conflict with an unknown American band called the Choice. Their 1994 major-label debut, The Great Subconscious Club, was largely ignored in the U.S., despite stateside touring with the Indigo Girls. But their 1996 follow-up, Paradise in Me, became a minor American hit behind the constant airplay of the single "Not an Addict." The album fared better in Europe, where it reached the French Top 20 and hit No. 1 in Belgium.
