Toyota has made a new hybrid car. This car can drive
on petrol and on electricity.When you're driving on
petrol the batteries will be charged. There is a mechanism that divides the
power of the engine. A part is used for driving, the other part is used for
charging the batteries. When the car drives on petrol you can drive about 28 km
on 1 litre (!). The petrol engine is a 1.5 litre one. The car produces 90% less
toxin gasses out (NO2 and CO).Because of the batteries the car weight
about 1500 kg.If the batteries an the fuel tank are full you can drive about
1200 km (!).The car is on this moment only available in Japan and costs about $
17500,00.
The
