northern star 6th january 1999 with the australian beef week show

a demo tape was recorded (admittedly on a minimal budget). copies are available from local record stores in newcastle or through mail order. the release is called "seventeen days of escaping" through monaro music 1998. it features the following songs:

death in monaro country came second in the newcastle university band competition which effectively put an end to the hope of them continuing with allister for another few months. allister has begun a six month stay in europe, but will be back to continue with the band. in the meantime, death in monaro country will persist (pushing physical and creative limits etc etc) and maybe audition temporary guitarists (either slide or accoustic) to fill in until he returns.
