SABRINA SALERNO SINGLE RELEASES:
YEAH YEAH

Italian 'Yeah Yeah' 7" single

The follow-up to 'Gringo', 'Yeah Yeah', was another happy-sounding dance-pop track, once again written and produced by Sabrina herself and Elvio Moratto. Lyric-wise, the song's concerns are the joys of a nice and healthy enviroment. 'Yeah Yeah' was released as a single twice, the first release in 1990 remaining Italian-only. Three mixes were released in 1990, a 7" mix, a 12" mix and a rather spacey sounding remix (titled Ambient mix), on two formats, a 7" single and a 12" single, both featuring the same picture of a happy Sabrina with a pony-tail.

In late 1990/early 1991, the Italian dance-label Discomagic released four remixes of 'Yeah Yeah', on both a standard and a picture-disc 12". Both formats used the same picture of Sabrina standing on the beach, this time looking a bit unhappy. These remixes were licensed to record-companies in France and the Netherlands. While the french release (on 7", 12" and CD single) used the same photo of Sabrina as the Italian Discomagic-release, but changed the graphics, the dutch release (on the same three formats) used the complete picture-sleeve design from the 1990 Italian release. Don't be confused about these dutch releases, though: According to their labels, all formats were pressed in Germany, but it's sure these were never sold in Germany, but on the Benelux-market only.
