As yet this page is a bit rambling, as time goes on there'll be more links to user groups, sub-aqua, media and ham-radio organisations; lobbying groups and various useful web technical resources, like search engines and tutorials. Tips and tricks will be on another page.

I'll also be putting in links to various companies that I feel offer a good deal.

Certain offshore sites may contain carefully chosen words about companies that have somehow done me a disservice. (Purely from a subjective standpoint, you understand). They may include a South Wales Ford dealership and a UK provider of extended warranties for example.

• Judith Roberts Opticians in Mumbles, Swansea, nice people, Welsh speaking.
• OneTel for cheaper phonecalls. i.e. 3p per minute UK to USA. Free smartbox and normally no standing charge. Massively cheaper than BT Together. Can use from some mobiles.
  STOP PRESS: If you decide to use OneTel and quote reference 99690 I may get £5 credit. As they're a good choice it cheesed me off I could make money from others, so this is good news. Comparable with Equitalk, see below, better on US;UK;Australia. Calling card useful for long calls only, consider prepay like 1st Telecom or Swiftcall.
• OneTel.Net as a reasonable pay-as-you-go ISP, 1p per minute at all times, no subscription, and importantly no minimum charge. I don't get any dosh for recomending this, unfortunately.
• Civil Service Motoring Association Too much marketing, but for £12p.a. you get services; glossy mags and entitlement to dicounts. Quote my membership 10140837 and I get £5 if you join. Open to (ex)employees of (ex)public sector.
• Britannia Rescue from CSMA is cheaper car breakdown cover.
• Environmental Transport Association. Unique in doing recovery for bicycles. They used to do very cheap recovery for newer cars. Not used them personally, but assume it'll be the usual contractors.
• CleverSearch, a meta-meta-search engine. Does a good job. Lately been popping up some other search window too, annoying.
• RISCOS Ltd. keeping the faith, and Gates at bay. Attaboy Paul.
