I trade one for one
I have the facility to copy from any format to any other format.
I'm afraid I don't trade on cassette any more.
CDR is my prefered trading medium.
CD-R
I no longer use TDK disks - the new Reflex-Ultra disk give me over 50% coasters !!!Currently I'm using Traxdata disks which I'm getting good results with.
I prefer to receive non-generic disks. Please use a decent brand.I prefer not to get Gold CDs as I have problems copying these.
I do not send the jewel cases.
I send the CDs in paper sleeves, well packaged as this reduces postage by 70%.I will e-mail colour scans of any artwork that I have, or set-lists if I have them. Please could you do the same.
DATs
I am winding down my DAT trading and prefer not to trade on DAT.If I do I always send the DATs in their cases
If you would like my master tapes, just ask. I'm more likely to agree to a DAT trade if I can offload the DAT and keep the CD transfer.Cassette Tapes
I no longer trade on Cassettes.
Audio extraction using my Plexwriter 48x48x24 using Exact Audio Copy software.
DAT tapes are transfered to CDR using the digital input of my M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 sound card.
Any cassette tapes copied on to CD-R are digitally converted using a M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 sound card.
The tape hiss is then removed and EQ applied (if required) using Wavelab
