Stagefright is currently in the studio at Show Me Some Love in Richmond, recording material for their upcoming album, Song of Solomon (slated for release in December 1998), featuring the single "Sweetest Compassion", which is slated for release this August. The album will include much of their popular current live material (which you can hear a bit of in my downloads section) as well as new material, and new twists on the old. They have completed the A track for the single, Sweetest Compassion, and will release a single after completing two other cuts, including Thai Girl.
This Just In!: Music Video on the Way!
As of this update (June 11, 1998), Stagefright is working on a music video for the song Sweetest Compassion. I have some cool stills from the animation they are doing for the music video (courtesy of vocalist Sumiko California, who is working on them with animator Rob Mykoff. She says she is helping him with character creation. These stills are the cartoon version of Gunther Palmer).
