The Boot List of Craig Nine

Greetings! As you could probably guess, I’m really into concert recordings and studio outtakes. I’ve been collecting since the early 1980’s… I have a few simple trading rules, nothing too demanding, just the following:

No high speed dubbing on tapes

Use Maxell or TDK High Bias tapes

Use name-brand CDR’s (no cheap generics please!)

Don’t burn discs “on the fly”

Burn discs in DAO mode- no gaps!!

Keep me informed if there will be a delay

Ship First Class in a padded envelope

Don’t rip me off!!! If you do, I will brand you a ‘bad trader’ in every trade-related group on the Net!

And, last but certainly not least….

DO NOT SELL ANYTHING YOU GET FROM ME ON EBAY OR ANYWHERE ELSE!! I WILL NOT STAND FOR IT. I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN LIKE A DOG AND SLICE YOUR GONADS OFF!

OK, that wasn’t too painful, was it (except for the “gonad-slicing” part)??

I have always tried my best to be honest and prompt when doing trades, I hope you will do the same. I rate sound quality on a 1 to 10 scale, with 10 being the best and 1 being absolute unlistenable crap. Of course, everyone relies on their own ear for sound quality, so an 8 in my book may be a 6 or a 9 to someone else. I would suggest that a 5 or below rating would be pretty bad, for die-hards only.

I am mainly trading for the following artists right now:

The Replacements

Paul Westerberg

Guided By Voices

Flop

Uncle Tupelo

Led Zeppelin

Husker Du

Rolling Stones

The Clash

The Who

The Flaming Lips

MC5

I will be updating the list as time permits- latest update 2/9/03.
