Hmm. This thing starts to be interesting. Would I find any support & help with a project listing all the existing bootleg versions of The Soundhouse Tapes, along with descriptions of all of them? As exact descriptions as possible, including color pictures of both sides of the sleeve and both labels (if possible) and so on? I made this list very quickly and I'd appreciate any additions and corrections to it. One of the bootlegs is relatively cheap, one copy was sold in Sweden in the summer of 1992 for only 200 SEK, roughly $31.25. I'm not certain which one it is, however, but most likely it was black vinyl. Claims to be released by Rock Hard label in 1979, just like original. - original The Soundhouse Tapes (official): - Invasion/Iron Maiden/Prowler - 7" vinyl - red sleeve color, front sleeve has Iron Maiden logo in the top in two rows, below that is a live photo and below that calligraphed text "The Soundhouse Tapes" - red label color, black vinyl - released by Iron Maiden's own label, Rock Hard, in Nov 1979 - made in UK - catalog number ROK 1 - 5000 copies made - very rare, tends to be expensive - prices expected to vary even up to $400 ? Please describe the sleeves as exactly as possible, GIF/JPEG anyone? ? Please describe the labels as exactly as possible, GIF/JPEG anyone? ? Please describe what the run-off area says (matrix number there, are there any other writings in that area?) ? Please tell me how the songs are split on A and B sides ? Any other information? - CD release (official) - CD - released by Reborn Classics label - includes album from Stratus, too. - should be "normal priced" - bootleg release 1 - 7" vinyl - orange sleeve color - bootleg release 2 - 7" vinyl - blue vinyl - bootleg release 3 - 7" vinyl - red vinyl - bootleg release 4 - 7" vinyl - clear vinyl - bootleg release 5 - A: Iron Maiden / B: Invasion / Prowler - 7" vinyl - most likely black vinyl - color picture sleeves, with main color being something close to white. Similar front sleeve as on the original EP. - Hot Wacks' bootleg book lists this and has also a b/w picture of it
