I hope you already know this, but NOFX is a punk band from cali. They use a little reggae, ska and other styles in their music. NOFX has been together since about 1984. They have released: 1 album, 6 seven inch, 1 demo, and 1 cassette on Mystic Records; 7 albums, and 1 seven inch on Epitaph; 2 albums, 1 VHS, 2 twelve inch, 5 seven inch on Fat Wreck Chords and 1 cd on GEMA records. The Story: NOFX started in 1983, when Mike, Eric And Scott created their first seven inch: "For A Glory Of Kate" on Mystic Records a Californian Lo-Fi Studio where the group have played in the begginning. In ninteen-eightyfive/six, "Izzy Drew Lynn" joined the group as a new guitarist, and Erik Sandin (the actuall drummer) joined. Then in the 1987 they self-released the first issue of "Liberal Animation" (Re-issued by Epitaph in 1991). In the same year, born from the hand of Fat Mike was "Fat Wreck Records". Their first issue on Fat was "Drinkin' Stinkin' Never Thinkin'" a seven inch. In 1989 they joned Epitaph, and released "S/M Airlines" 1989, after 2 years "Ribbed"in 1991. In 1992 just in time for the recording of "The Longest Line" El Hefe Joined the band as guitarist/trumpettist replacing Izzy; after this event they've released: "White Trash Two Heebs And A Bean" in 1992, "Punk In Drublic" in 1994, "Heavy Petting Zoo/Eating Lamb" in 1996, "So Long And Thanks for All The Shoes" in 1997, plus many many other singles..... NoFX Have Produced 3 Videos "Bob", "Liza And Louise", and "Leave it Alone"; but you can't see any of these videos on MTV because NOFX is ANTI-MTV!!!!. NOFX WISELY chooses not to have any vidoes on MTV nor are any of their songs played on commercial radio, yet they have a huge fan base and have become one of the biggest punk bands.
