band: the Cure
song: the LoveCats
album: Japanese Whispers
tabbed by: Joshua Cross (cure_dib@yahoo.com)

h = hammer on
\ = slide down
^ = bend

this is actually played on an upright bass, but it sounds alright played on a regular.

BRIDGE

i'm not so sure about this part. this is as close as i've come to getting it yet.

G -----------------------------------
D -----------9-\----------------10-\-
A -0----6^-----------------7^--------
E --------------------0--------------

ENDING

this is the cool little walk the bass does toward the end of the song

G -----------------------------------
D -----------------------------------
A -------5-7-8-7-------0-2-3-2-0-----
E -5-7-8-----------1-3-----------5-3-

in the album version, he just does this twice, and then goes back to the regular verse part. i like to keep playing it until the very end, which goes like this:

rest a few measures, then do a slide down on the A string (doesn't really matter what fret you start on). then hit an open E

that's it!
