        He made his wish on a shooting star

And rose to the top of the music scene

Had a real easy job of breaking all the girl's hearts

Hooked on drugs by the time he was twenty-one
His rock and roll days were just about done
Surrounded by the glam and blinded by the light
He died a lonely man on a cold Friday night
