WOW!! What a fun day everyone had at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas.
Bob "Pbaub" Bradshaw put together another fun day
for the fans who were in town. The afternoon of fun, food
and drink was topped off by the appearance of Tracy Graham, Gordon
Marshall and PAUL BLISS!! YAY!!
Paul and Tracy were there to sign autographs, pose for pictures and
sign copies of their latest CDs. Gordon was there for the autographs and
pictures, and TALKED about the solo CD he was working on in his spare time. ;>)
Everyone seemed to have a great time signing autographs and
posing for pictures. Of course Paul and Gordon seemed to be
having a little TOO much fun signing the T-shirts of a number
of female fans....while they were still wearing them!! LOL
I'm still trying to figure out who leads the other into more
trouble: Paul or Gordon. ;>)
A highlight of the afternoon was when Paul was approached by
John & Brenda Stock of Lansing, MI. They wanted Paul to sign
a couple of albums he recorded in the 70s: Dog Soldier and The
Bliss Band's "Dinner With Raoul". As John tells it, Paul saw
the albums and said "Oh wow!" John also says that Paul called
Gordon over to see the albums, pointing out a picture of
himself on the Dog Soldier cover. Gordon looked at it funny,
until he saw it was Paul and said "you're joking!" Then they
laughed about it. It was a lot of fun seeing Paul's
expression when he saw the two album covers.
Finally, the Hard Rock Cafe staff was great about
accommodating so many fans. They even put a videotape into the
restaurant-wide TV system for us to watch...the Moody Blues'
performance of "Ride My See-Saw" on Hard Rock Live. Paul
hadn't seen the 30-minute show yet, so he stayed for a couple
of minutes to see it. It was funny seeing Paul, Gordon and
Tracy on the TV screen, knowing they were at the restaurant.
I can't say enough how much fun we had with Paul, Gordon and
Tracy at the Hard Rock Cafe. They are so friendly and
interested in talking with everyone who stopped at the table
and said "hi."
Thank you Gordon, Tracy, Ivy Stewart (who was the mystery
guest) and especially Paul for attending the fan gathering.
And we hope you can all attend another one in the future.
