Cappadonna - The Ying and the Yang (Review by Todd D.)

1. The Grits
The first song is an alright way to start the album out. 7.5/10
2. Super Model
This joint features Ghostface Killah, but that doesn't help any. Barely able to listen to it. 6.5/10
3. War Rats
Decent wordplay, but not a standout. 8/10
4. Bread of Life
Features Killah Priest which gives an added flavor to this one. 8/10
5. Love is the Message
Has an ok beat to it, but this song shouldn't be on the album. 7/10
6. We Know
What the hell is Jermaine Dupri and Da Brat doing on this album? Dupri's input is annoying, but it's actually better than I thought. 7.5/10
7. Shake Dat
This song is complete garbage. Should have been on a bad party album. 6/10
8. Big Business
This joint is pretty decent. Shyheim shines through. 8/10
9. Revenge
Starts to sound more like a Wu-Affiliated album on this one. Good lyrics by Timbo King. 8/10
10. One Way to Zion
The best song on the album, which honestly isn't saying too much. 8.5/10

I was very disappointed with this album. Some people didn't like Cappadonna's Pillage album, but I thought it was good. Though, this album should be avoided. Overall, 7/10.

Caedel's opinion: Personally, I think Super Model is one of the best songs on the whole LP.  The rest of it is garbage in comparison to the Wu standard.  Good idea to drop him.
