The Varmints are: Billy Borgoli, Pete Taylor, Frank Rowe and Carl Biancucci.
Billy Borgoli was one of the original members of Boston's Real Kids, a band which helped shape Bston's burgeoning punk scene in the 70's. Billy was also in the Classic Ruins. Billy plays guitar and sings.
Pete Taylor was in Death in the Shopping Malls and Toby Dammit. (He was also an extra in John Water's classic movie, Female Trouble!) Pete pounds the drums.
Frank Rowe was a Classic Ruin, and has brought some of his old catalogue into the Varmints set. He sings the occassional song, but his primary role in the Varmints is guitar.
Carl Biancucci was in the Classic Ruins and in Johnny and the Jumper Cables. Mr Biancucci plays bass.
Ain't No Good, the Varmints contribution to the anthology, is one of the highlights of their live set. The band plays around Boston frequently, and can be seen every month at the Kirkland Cafe in Somerville, where they are among the management's favorite bands.
