Strangely enough, without planning or drawing schematics (as
I have the habit of doing), this came out to be a better fitting and
performing case than many commercial ones that I've seen or used. It
housed the few components I needed and left some room for expansion.
The box is rather tiny (measuring around 10 x 10 x 5.5 inches) and has a
decent acoustic response. It also appears to be thermodynamicaly
correct, considering that I've left the front and rear open. If I
decide to cover it completely I will put in a set of intake and exhaust
fans to properly cool the machine.
Technically I don't
think this is a case mod since I made the case from scratch. Also, I
wouldn't brag about it considering that it is not decorated or
finished...but ....had to show the world.
