The Principles of Evil Made Flesh

Here we have a band that pooped out literally from nowere (read Britannia, no offense but your B.M. scene has been almost none) and what an album it is. I've used to think that the only music the Britons where good at doing was doom and heavy metal. But here comes a pure Vampire Black Metal (!) band that is very good, on all levels. The music and lyrics is good, the production and layout is good, nothing is there to complain about. (Well on second thought, what is Nicholas doing in the band? He looks like a hockey player although he plays good.)

Vempire
or
Dark Faerytales in Phallustein

Wow! This is even better then before. The bands musical development has really been for the better. They have added more keyboards and female choirs to really lift out the music in a very majestic way. It has got everything the previous album had and more. Sense the song "The Forest Whispers my Name" is featured so can you really compare the two albums in a fair way and I must say that this is astonishing. This has to be the best album of 1996 so far (May). And the cover then, what a piece of art. It's a real pleasure to put this fine album up on the CD-wall. Buy or you will regret

Dusk... And Her Embrace

Slower, darker and more structured is what I first notice about this long awaited album. Well it's still very fast sometimes, but not as often as before. This is more atmosphere based music with great keyboard work. Some of the riffs on this album are among the best I've ever heard. I think that all who liked CoF before will like this one too. The only thing negative I've found is the cover - Where's the two beautiful girls caressing eachother covered in blood? Oh well, This is much more original and there's still a girl on the cover. Oh yes, I almost forgot, The production reigns supreme and they have quit using corpse paint. Nicholas have shaved his head and looks like onkel Fester, ah the heck, they all looks like the Addams family...

Cruelty And The Beast

This is the long awaited album from the Britons favorite vampyric act. This is a theme album with the story of Elisabeth Bathory who killed over 650 young women to drink and bath in their blood. The music and atmosphere is all there, and it's nothing really new to it. The material is as great as ever and so is the production. If you like the earlier albums you will like this aswell. It's professional and good and it gives me what I wanted from it. As tradition demands they have put a beautiful lady on the cover bathing in tub full of blood. The cover is a double with a different piece of art on the backside just like "Vempire" had. I doubt that any fan of C.o.F. will be disappointed.
