YuroMental is no more! They have parted, it is true. The personal lives of the members made it such that it was too dificult to keep the band together. Yuri and Kirby are still colaberating on material. Kirby is also working with Hjylimar & King on material. Tom has decided to devote more time to Karati training that he has been involved with for several years.
The band released there debew EP CD "4 Songs 4 u" in the summer of 2001. Recorded at Triad Studios in Redmond WA. It contains two songs from the Fester days,'Shape Up', and 'Give Me A Clue'. The other two songs are fresh Mental material 'Angel Of Love' and 'March Of The Dead'. All songs were written by Yuri. The CD features cover art by Hjylimar and back up vocals in Shape Up include the voice of Steve Harwood. The songs were recorded at Triad Studios in Redmond WA. They used studio A utilizing a Quad Eight Westar console. The tracks went onto 2" reel to reel tape for the warmer analog sound. You can hear samples of these songs here and at CD Baby.com
