-Soundbites-
Right on, right on. What better way to articulate how we sound than the music itself? We've included two songs from, "The Zone" as Gay likes to call it. Two sure-fire smashes, so we think. But enough of my pretentious posturing. Here's the lowdown on downloading these tracks. They are both in MP3 format so you'll need an MP3 player to listen to them, dig? If you don't have one, just do a net search. Winamp is the most common so you should probably search for that, got me? Good stuff youngblood. Now, we tried to put on two tracks that give a rough idea of our style, but keep in mind As Of Now is a pretty eclectic album. Anyway, without further ado, here they are.
Thursday At The Races. The fans seem to really dig this track, and it's a lot of people's favorite song on the album. It's got a fairly new wave sound, slightly reminiscent of early Cars.
March Away. It's more of an early Costello sounding tune. Man do I love playing this song. It's an exciting track introducing a new style which Gay calls March Rock. The trick is to play it while marching. But it's proved too difficult for this Distraction. That's when I hang my head.
