Finally, I'll no more update this list. I now understand why the previous owner have stopped to do this list. They are too many bands nowday, and the CD-R format is a real problem in this list. It's now praticly impossible to keep this list complet. So, I'll let the Black Metal List online, but no more update will be done (by me at least). If someone want to try to continue this list, feel free to start with the current version, and do what you want with it.

But I'll continue the Canadian Black Metal List. I think that in the current situation of the scene, the local black metal lists (like the canadian, the american, russian, etc.) is the only way to keep some interesting and decent lists. So, if someone want to continue the Black Metal List, I mosly suggest him to done a list of is country (or region). Lists from "unorthodoxe" region and country for black metal (like Africa, Mongolia, China, Guatemala, Bangladesh, Pakistan, etc.) most be really interesting since it's quite hard to keep information about this scenes (even if they just have 2 or 3 bands on it). Also, it's quite unbelivable that big scene like Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, etc. never got there own local black metal list.
