We start with an AMD Sempron 64 2600+, with 128KB L2 Cache and an 800Mhz front-side-bus, making your 64-bit capable computer will do what you ask quickly... and quietly. With a fan that only turns on when it needs to, your computer will be kept cool and quiet. Having 512MB of PC3200 DDR RAM, the programs you want will load faster, and run smoother as well. Utilizing a DirectX 9 hardware capable video card, you can play many of the newer games that most other small computers cannot. Play with more 'eye candy' turned on. Your large 80GB hard drive gives you plenty of space to store your pictures, documents, music, and anything else you can think of. With a Dual Layer DVD Burner, you have a storage medium that allows you to store up to 8.5GB of data on one disc, instead of the 4.9GB that you can store on a Single Layer DVD, or the 650MB (700MB) that you can store on a CD. With the integrated 5.1 surround sound audio card, movies and games are brought to a whole new level. Combine that with an optional upgrade to a HiDef video card, and you have the makings for an excellent Home Entertainment Computer.
