• Joe Watson and family lived near Joaquin, TX. We are guessing that Joe, John (my GF) and Elbert J. were brothers. I believe there was at least one other brother who was the father of another Jewel (only one L) and Johnnnie (who married Pervis Walton).
• Also, for the record, my GF John had kids from his first marriage: Levina (who was institutionalized at an early age and died there, and is buried in Shelbyville near her parents), Drew, Will, Marvin and Carrol. Marvin had a son, Hervy, who has a daughter Loretta, younger than me who lives in Joaquin and is married to a Childress.
• Caroll had a son named Ether (now deceased) and a daughter, Carolyn, who lives in Huntington and is married to a Phillips.
