Cry, Baby, Cry

In 1966, the cover for the Beatles album 'Yesterday and Today' (known as the Butcher cover)

was pasted over with the more dignified 'trunk cover'

due to public relations problems in the US (there was no problem in England). This controversy has spawned a massive collecting frenzy...and the butcher cover has become a part of the Beatles legend. Who knows? Maybe underneath your old 'trunk' album, a valuble 'butcher' is hidden! (well...you can dream, anyway.)
