This is my Bremerton, WA page…

I haven't been in Bremerton, WA since May of 1992. I was stationed aboard the USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) which was in dry dock at PSNS (Puget Sound Naval Shipyard). The ship was at PSNS from 1991 to 1993 or 1994. I got discharged in April of 1992. Anyway, I was in a band with some guys from the ship, and we drank A LOT of beer, and other forms of alcohol (as well as indulging in other "evils"). But we played a lot of great music, and you know....I kinda miss those days….

So here are some pics of the band….

Rodney "Buck" Buckwalter(Keyboard) - Bill Greenwood-Guitar (me in background)

Drew Thompson (Drums) ---- Matt Chadwick-(Vocals)

Yup, if you couldn’t guess(or couldn't read it), we went by the name "Intruder"…after the Naval aircraft (we were all in the Navy, after all) - little did we know that the name was taken!! Bill is from California (Danville, I think??), Buck is from Texas, Drew is from Tennessee, and Matt is from Illinois. If you know any of these guys, please give them my web address!!!!

To hear a clip of some of the original songs that we wrote and recorded in 1990-91, long before Cold Fire was even thought of, Click on a link- "Wonder Why" originally by me and Bill as an acoustic jam. (I kinda borrowed the formation of the chords from a song that my friend Aarron had written in 1988-89) Matt and I came up with the words.

This is Bill Greenwood, from California on lead guitar, Evan Wickham, from Washington (state, that is) on the background lead guitar, and me on guitar, bass, Alesis SR-16 drum machine, and vocals...

When this song was written, it started out as an acoustic jam, more or less, and evolved into what you hear. It really sums up my feelings from that period (from 1990-1992) in about 3 1/2 minutes. This song literally saved my life. I was very depressed, and drinking and into drugs. I got into a nasty motorcycle accident - it was the music that saved me...not the 12 step programs to quit the booze and the drugs, not the ambulance crew that scraped me and my head off the cement (although, they certainly helped!!)....it was the music

Music is the key to the soul

This a a song written by Evan Wickham, and I, in early 1992 when I lived with him and his girlfriend, Hazel.....called "Sweet Memories" -currently unavailable-Sorry

And here is another song written by me, and Matt Chadwick, our singer at the time, back around the same time(1990-1991)..Matt on vocals, Bill on guitar, me on bass...I believe this was one of our 1st experiments with the four track...hence the sound isnt exactly as good as it could be

"The Only One for Me"

This is for anyone who has ever lost love........you know who you are....

"Not my Decision" is a song written by our drummer's old band (Drew Thompson was the drummer, and Sabotage was the band-late '70 I believe).

I know it sounds like an old Ted Nugent song, but Drew swears it was written before Ted Nugent's song (whatever it is).
