Face it, the Beatles are BORING. People who hate rock and roll and all it stands for like the Beatles. People who haven't listened to anything new since 1965 like the Beatles.

They were "cute". They wore matching suits and pranced about in silly movies and the world loved them. They found God in India and smoked dope and wore hippie clothes. THEY BROKE UP OVER TWENTY YEARS AGO!!!! Life goes on.....
Now, people say, oh, but when they first came out, it was so exciting! And maybe it was. Would I take away aging baby boomers fond memories? Well....But an ungodly number of Beatles fans weren't even around then, they're just carrying on the TRADITION and CONSUMING postfab MERCHANDISE from the BEATLE INDUSTRY.

Then there's the NEW records exploiting the memory of poor John Lennon-- Lennon was the DECENT Beatle, and after the poor man's dead, the rest make awful recordings of some demos he had laying around or something...I don't know the whole story, I don't keep up on Beatle trivia....but the stuff sold, of course. Why not? Necrobeatlemania!!!
We who hate the Beatles have a 60's hero--or heroine, we should say--St. Yoko, the serene angel who is said to have put an end to this dreadful association. People say YOKO ONO BROKE UP THE BEATLES!!!!! Yoko is thus forgiven for any part she might have played in the Voices from the beyond recordings as mentioned above.
"I don't believe in Beatles/I just believe in me/Yoko and Me/That's Reality" --JOHN LENNON WROTE THIS, OK????? If he didn't believe in Beatles, why should you?
There are so much great music to listen to! The Velvet Underground! John Cale solo! Roxy Music! The Stooges and/or Iggy! Parliment Funkadelic! Prince! Hole! New York Dolls! Buzzcocks! Ramones!
