Lisa, the one true love of my life,my beautiful wife.Where do I start? There's so much to say about her! It's really hard to know where to begin, she's so many wonderful things!!For one,she a nurse for:
She's been there for a while now, since she moved down here from Winston Salem to be closer to me when we were dating. She is originally from Lousiana, but grew up in The Woodlands, outside of Houston Texas.

She is a really great cook, and likes to try out all sorts of new recipes on me.She is also very good at BreadMaking, and has a really niceBread machine, and lots of bread recipes.

She likes the Mountains alot, and we have a tradition of going up every year in Autumn to Hickory Nut Gorge to get apples. It's more the drive through the mountains she likes I think. We do that alot, drive I mean.Sometimes we just get in the car and go,doesnt really matter where,we talk, explore places, just have a good time. Some of my fondest memories of her so far are moments while driving somewhere. One cold night,we drove up to Elkin (one of her favorite places in the whole state),to go to the candle outlet. We then decided to drive along the BlueRidge Parkway, and had such a god time just messing around, that we ended up in Boone. We stopped for coffee, and got back on the parkway headed south. It was really cold out and the stars and the moon were so brilliant, they illuminated her face so, they made me love her even more.I have that picture in my memory, that captured moment of glowing beauty, and I'll cherish it for the rest of my life.

Things I admire most about my wife(in no specific order):

#1. Lisa *LOVES* to read. She is always reading,it's like an addiction with her.It is because of her that I have started to read again..Well,started reading good literature again, and not just astronomy textbooks. She reads alot of the Oprah Book Club selections, and suggests books for me to read that she thinks I might like. Almost any time we go to Barnes and Noble, she buys a new book,or finds one she wants to read.

#2. Her family ties,or sense of family.Lisa is extremely involved with her family, and keeps in touch with not only her Grandparents, but her Aunts,Uncles and Cousins. It's so neat, she will call them for no real reason, but just to see how they're doing! If she doesnt call them, she'll ask her parents who they've talked to recently, and whats going on.It is something I wish my family did a little more of.If I had to pick one of her attributes I wish I had, this would be one of the ones.

#3.Her strength.I dont know how to be more specific with this one.She has this powerful sense of determination about her.She tells you what she thinks, and if she doesn't understand something, she has the precise question and follow up questions ready to be asked. It's a "I know what I want, and I know how to get it" type of electricity. She's confident, she's in control, she's relaxed, and she is absolutely cool.

#4. I love the way she can make me feel like a million bucks, like the most important person in the whole wide world with the simplest of words,or that coy little smile of hers.
