POLYGLOT hailed from ME. They were the rulers of the scene there until their demise. Yes unfortunately they broke up just when things were starting to take off. The singer and the guitarist moved to Boston, MA to live with the fine gentlemen of Blood For Blood. Ian, the guitarist, now plays bass in Blood For Blood. Go check out his lanky antics at a BFB show. Jay, the singer, is now playing bass in a surfrock band and looking to start a new hardcore/grind band. There are still a couple of unreleased Polyglot songs floating around here at the Pin Drop office. So if you ask nicely maybe we will put together another split 7” for these songs. In the meantime check out their split 7”(PDR05) with Fall From Grace. It has been hailed as one of the all time best split 7”s in hardcore history.
NEWS: We've talked to the guys in Polyglot and they said there are actually 3 songs that are unreleased. We are thinking of getting those 3 songs and taking the 2 off the split 7" and releasing them as a mini cd. Email us at pindrop1@ix.netcom.com and let us know what you think of the idea.
