We have THREE events specially lined up for SATURDAY 16th OCTOBER 1999.... Firstly in the morning we have the tour - taking in some of the landmarks in AATA history including stop-offs at the Albert Memorial (location of the infamous 'milk bottle' scene in Jubliee!), Adam's old primary schools and his 1981 - 1998 residence in Pr mrose Hill. The tour will (hopefully!)include some witty commentry from Madam Stan and Ant Ranger will be at hand to take the photographs. It will finish at Tufnell Park, dropping you off safely to the convention's doorstep by a specially licensed driver rom the bus operator. Our evening for the 16/10/99 is divided into two halves and located at Covent Garden's Rock Garden. The ALF have managed to swindle the whole of the first floor for our banquet at 9pm. Not only will you be able to fill your face after an exciting day but e have a specially arranged question and answer session with TERRY LEE who will be guesting after playing with his new band Magnificent 7 at 8pm (of which banquet guests will have FREE ENTRY!). Places are strictly limited on a first come first serve basis so if you would like more information on tickets for our events above please contact us at the e-mail address above asap.

Do you remember the first time you experienced Adam and the Ants?I was 13 and was watching HBO, when the "video jukebox" came on.There they were,those English boys who stole my heart.I was wondering if anyone else misses those days of painting up as an" Ant Warrior "and cavorting around their neighborhood blasting "Ant-Music" from their boomboxes? geez...So much news I haven't heard don't know where to begin to comment. I've been a fan of his for over half my life and rather hard to find other fans in the Seattle area because of the Grunge-thing. Nice to see he FINALLY tied the knot. Though he w s going to be a bachelor for life there for awhile. I'm really happy for him!! Adam came to Seattle back in 1987 for a small gig for a local radio station and did an autograph session for Manners. Nothing like him going through my 1984 high school year ook and signing next to me...self appointed Adam Ant Fan Club Pres of the school. Embarassing is Adam reading my life goals and setting up house with him. Adam laughed. What a guy! Any further late breaking news besides the convention please email me or at least keep in touch. When I went on a tour of Europe (1994), I found a book in London, England called, "Adam and the Ants....Superstar." It covers through Prince Charming. The text is by John Tobler, and the book was designed by The Mick Wells Studio. It is about 67 pages ong. It is about notebook paper size (12" by 8"), and it has mostly pictures. I THINK it was published originally in 1982 (it cost me 2.95 pounds). It was published in Great Britain by Stafford Pemberton Publishing, THe Ruskin Chambers, Drury Lane, Knut ford, Cheshire, WA16 6HA. BUT it was printed in Italy (go figure). Other books would be the tour booklets (Strip, Vive Le, etc) and fanzines. Check out Caroline's links/websites for more info on them.
