The Ring Of Zeppelin is a continuous ring of web sites that are dedicated to The Legend That Is, Was and Always Shall Be - Led Zeppelin. If you're not sure who or what we're talking about, RUN to the nearest CD store and pick up The Studio Recordings Box Set NOW! You've obviously been living under a rock for quite a long time and we're here to help you rectify that situation. Use the links below to view some of the web's best spots focusing on Led Zeppelin.
For those of you who have NOT been living under rocks and have your own web page dedicated to Led Zeppelin, I ask that you please become a member of The Ring Of Zeppelin by following the directions below. It's a very simple process and it'll help to keep us fans from having to use the latest, never updated, always slow search engines to find sites on Robert, Jimmy, Bonzo and John Paul.
From any page in the ring, you can click on the "NEXT" button to navigate through the ring of sites, the "NEXT 5" button to get a list of the next five sites in the ring or "RANDOM" to navigate the web sites randomly.
To jump in feet first and forget everything else, just click on the link below....
If your web site is dedicated to Led Zeppelin and you want to become a member of The Ring Of Zeppelin, please follow these five simple steps:
1) Fill out this form-
After submitting your form, a page should appear confirming your addition to The Ring Of Zeppelin queue. It will include your Site ID number, URL, Title, and Password. You will also be sent an email containing the same information.
2) Add one of the following html fragments to your site's entry page (view source to copy it):
begin fragment 1
Proud member of The Ring Of Zeppelin.
end fragment 1
OR
begin fragment 2
Proud member of The Ring Of Zeppelin.
end fragment 2
3) Replace all instances of "_SITE_ID_HERE_" with your site ID number.
4) Save a copy of The Ring Of Zeppelin logo (zoso2.jpg for fragment 1, or szoso2.jpg for fragment 2) and the navigation buttons (next.jpg, next5.jpg, and random.jpg for fragment 1, or snext.jpg, snext5.jpg, and srandom.jpg for fragment 2). DO NOT reference them off someone else's server.
5) Send email to The Ring Of Zeppelin Ringmaster, The Prophet and ask to be added to The Ring Of Zeppelin. Be sure you include your Site ID number, Title and URL in the message.
: Please add the HTML fragment and graphics to your entry page ** you ask to be added to The Ring Of Zeppelin.
When we visit your page before addition to the ring, we'll look for the The Ring Of Zeppelin HTML fragments and graphics to be on your page with active links (The links will not work until I enter your data into the ring). Once visited, I will add you to the queue and your links will become active. If your site does not have the navigational graphics, I will e-mail you once to inform you to place them on your page. If on my second attempt to view your site the HTML fragments and graphics do not appear, your submission will be terminated and you will have to re-submit your entry into The Ring Of Zeppelin.
If you have any questions, write to The Prophet.
