Sam
I have a bird
his name is Sam
I call him SAMSON.
When I come home he
squawks with joy.
I settle him down.
He is king at acrobatics
He flies, he cries, he sits in the sun.
He can walk on your arm.
You can feed him by hand.
He can walk and sort of talk.
That's my bird Sam.

Our class and Mr. Winter's
fifth grade class went on a field
trip to the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo. I
thought it was really neat. Some
of the people who worked there
were in the Korean War and World
War II! And the planes were
AMAZING!
The Air Zoo had a Navy plane
that was under Lake Michigan for
fifty years! And they have a video
simulator and seven non-video
simulators. There also was a man
who taught us about aerodynamics.
He did a few experiments. One was
the egg in the bottle.
So if you have the chance to
go. GET MOVING!

THRASHER !
Busted bones, agony, pain.
And KICK BUTT FUN!
The taste of sweat in your mouth, gritting teeth.
BOOM!!!
ADRENALIN RUSH! The feel of the road on feet,
and the cut off
circulation of blood from your pads! wipe out cut up
and bruised road rash. And
plenty of stiches. LIFE on the EDGE!!!!
Boarding wildly..............THERS ALL WAYS
TOMOROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE END!!!!!!!!

Scratchboards
By JMS
Mrs. Stobbelaar's class made
scratchboard's for HALLOWEEN.
First we started with a regular
sheet of paper and we took crayons
an and colored the sheet with
bright colors. Then we took
dishsoap and add it to black paint
then we spread on the paper. After
that we let it dry for a day. The
next day we took two paper clips
and bent the heads straight. After
that we made our HALLOWEEN
designs. It was a fun project. So
why don't you try to make one for
the holidays.
