THE PHANTOM’S DAUGHTER
#7, 8 1/2 x 11, 20pgs, $????
A thoughtful, personal zine on Satanism. Here we have writings on the
philosophy and religious merit of Satanism, indulging in ecstasies, women
and power, and the all knowing holiday of Holloween. I found myself agreeing
and understanding a lot of what was written in here about religion, about
love & hate, and on other items. But yet they were nothing new in my
spiritual path, even though my belief in Satanism is basically the same
as Christianity (which I don’t believe in). there is things from both that
have a deeper truth that has been distorted through the years. What ever
your path may be is fine with me, as long as it’s done truthfully and without
the draining of others alike, etc., etc.....SATANIC PRESSES, 3755 Meadow
Place Dr., Houston, TX., 77082, USA
RIVERSIDE ART SCENE
#13, 16, 17, 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, 20pgs each, $1 each
You know, I’ve been sitting here for over an hour reading these three
zines and I still don’t kow what the fuck is going on. We have writings,
articles, whatever the fuck they are, on the going ons in Riverside, NY,
which sounds like a place gone to Hell (in that blatent Christian way).
Also, there are demoralizing, psychotic bits on religion (which I found
funny), sexual perversion, poetry on shit. There’s a lot of weird shit
here, which I haven’t finished reading. If your into shit that’s not mundane
and fucked all over, get this. RIVERSIDE ART SCENE, P.O. Box 638, Kenmore,
NY., 14217, USA.

BIG BANG
#1,48pgs 8 x 10 1/2, Free
Now this is a zine! No, not just a zine, but a damn good DIY Punk zine,
the way it should be! First off is the heart felt drive in this zine by
Dave Liberation to bring back the truthfulness and and only true way of
Punk to others out there, Punk or not. I was highly charged by the ‘editorial’
and of the writings herein. First the interviews, here we have good, lengthy
ints. with PROPAGANDHI, artist Winston Smith, Ben Weasel, PINK LINCOLNS,
and Dr. Strange, The rest of this is articles and rants on things likeracism,
what Punk Rock is, public bathroom experience, going to a show, putting
out CD’s over 12” records, and more. There’s music, zine, and book reviews,
ads, pics, and an interesting selection of quotes. This is the next big
thing in zines, if this is the first issue, then I’m afraid of seeing things
later when they get it up and really running! BIG BANG, P.O. BOX 17746,
Anaheim, CA 92817, USA

KILLNG THE CONFORMIST
#1, 44 pgs, 8 1/2 x 11, $$??
A lot of close minded arrogance in these pages, but hey, we have to
have them to make to world go around. It’s partly funny and partly phobic
towards homosexuals, non-whites, and other little tid-bits. I had fun reading
it though, nothing to beat a boring day at the house. Besides the funny
questions and ignorant additude we have interviews with LIVIDITY, STRADION,
LUNATIC, DEADEN, Gore-Worm Comics, TOWPATH, and HOT STOVE. There are a
bunch of music reviews, poetry that sucks, and ads and such. Pretty interesting
without the blantant regard for reality. KILLING THE CONFORMIST, P.O. Box
