HECATE ENTHRONED released a new CD titled A Requiem for The Mighty, produced by Andy Sneap, and was release April 28th. Metal Blade Records got something going with them since they are releasing their Cd and bio stuff. Hummmm...who knows. Actually the CD is released on Death Records. Nuclear Blast America Records news I guess at the moment - - Let's see...first off Nuclear Blast America is now relocated in the Northwest in Philadelphia, PA and are popping out some pretty good bands at the moment. Lets start off with up comming releases and new signings. FACE DOWN will have a new one out but no release date yet. Black Metal band COVENANT recorded their second album and will be releasing it in early '98. Recently signed AGATHODAIMON will be recording their debut this month and be released around Feb '98. NARNIA will havce a release out in 1998 which will have pure melodic metal. hummmmm....ok. Lets see. Live & Plugged Vol 2 is a new homevideo that features DIMMU BORGIR and DISSECTION. The tape was recorded on March 31st 1997 and features live footage, a few videos, and interview footage. New compilation out called Gods of Darkness featuring EMPEROR, DISSECTION, IMMORTAL, CRADLE OF FILTH, MAYHEM, and others. Featuring some unreleased material. Ok.now for some more release dates - DRACUL, COVENANT, PUNGENT STENCH collection all out in Jan., MESHUGGAH and Death Is Just the Beginning V in April., and SINISTER in May. Now shut up!

PROJEKT Records.....well....I get in a lot of stuff from this record label but they are always sending me stuff on LYCIA with no music....so I haven't a clue on what they sound like. But ..................oh yeah..trpped out sounds from a band called ATTRITION. Nothing heavy...just part weird and part ......weirder. Gothic slamming into Classical Renaissance.

Well...it could be the day for someone else, but for me it is just ANOTHER DAY....it is not actually THE DAY for me....but enough about me.  Some other Metal Blade Records news here - Swedish Death/Black Metal band AMON AMARTH will be releasing their debut in Feb. 1998. Norweigian Black Metal Godz ANCIENT will have a release in November and possibly be called "Mad Grandiose Blood Fiends". BOLT THROWER has signed a deal and will be realesing a new album sometime in Spring '98. CANNIBAL CORPSE will be releasing a new album early '98 and have a new live video out this November. KING DIAMONDS will be releasing a new LP in Jan. '98 with a solo tour to follow, a first in almost eight years!
 
 JANE'S ADDICTION will reunite for an upcomming tour featuring RHCP bassist Flea and be releasing a new album with two new recordings, out takes, and live performances. This will be released on Warner Bros Rec. on Nov. 4th, 1997.
