The Significance of Consciousness

I see you Now
Blooming
Like the Cosmic
Flower
Of my Dreams
Unfolding
To behold The
Wonder
of the Everchanging
Universe
Only to Discover
Irony
of the Perpetual
Significance
That curtails Matter
Doomed
To only Return
Unwillingly
To the Seemingly
Futile
Existance from Whence
Conception
Originated Innocent
Aspiring
Ending with Remorse
KNOWING

The Importance of Aspriring to Dream...or the lack thereof

It was once bearable
living with the undying
screams...
Then I chose to listen
to the wrath of my dreams
Dying
A slow agonizing death
under hands none other
than my own...
Yet as I mercifully
relent
I only hear agony, in their moans
Dying
From seemingly mortal wounds
that no longer betray my eye...
Can I even tend them?
What fate can await if I try
only dying
Directionless
Hopeless
Lost
Forever mourning that which I never knew
Intimately
The one thing that is forever intimately
My own.

JOE

A whole different world
in every cup of Java
Molecules upon
Molecules
organized into a dark
brew
Add with it sugar
A solid crystal Atom
consistencies change
For a concoction that
is sweeter
Creating a Perfect?
molecular soup
Pleasing to body and
mind
Does that make Humans
A kind of coffee God?
Devourer of worlds
to make things end
or begin in this world
Controlled by another
mass of molecules
only with a
consciousness
We can only hope
if there is a judge
That the cup of Joe
Had not a consciousness
either
