BETRAYAL


do you love me?
did you ever?
torn between to loves
I am here
he is there
you keep us both around
like pets
telling one you love him
while sweet talking the other
I won't have it
anymore
this is where
I draw the line
choose
me or him
I grow tired of this charade
in doing this to me
going behind my back
you have hurt me
deeply
ripped my heart out from my breast
and stomped it flat
into the ground
living with you
knowing what you did to me
I can not bear
so go ahead
choose him
the pain will be excruciating
but not as unbearable
as it would be
if I stayed with you
for I cannot love you
anymore.
