GREEN GONZO POEM


Now I'm no Einstein,
But I think that it is true.
Gonzo would've been more popular
If he were green instead of blue.

Gonzo'd be the one 
Sweet talking that pink pig.
He'd also be the one
Who in Hollywood, would be big.

He's the one who would
Be playing a guitar.
Yes, that green Gonzo
Would go so very far.

Gonzo'd be the one,
Not that stupid frog!
Gonzo'd be on top of the world
Leaving Kermit on his log!

So, Mr. Henson,
You made a grave mistake.
You made Kermit green,
Leaving Gonzo in his wake.
