LIFE'S STRUGGLE

got to get away from here
you are most beautiful
lillies dance in the spring air
escaping me
and you were meant to be
cause nothing can stop it
keeps on coming
ever relentless
as the lion searching for prey
for me
and you were meant to live
not as i did
you love me?
and you play with the devil
in Hell forever
and ever did you love me?
for i loved you
and i was meant to be
but now not forever
death hunts you down
deep into the earth
everlasting struggle
with me is death
salvation or damnation
it is for everybody
are you there?
the dead stay dead
and the living
only wait to join them
love is the loser
and death is the victor either way.
