My 23 year old daughter committed suicide on January 23, 1999 and as a result I had her picture tattooed over my heart, my 15 year old son (who was a virgin) got a tribal band of intertwined barbed wire (colored in) completely around his left are with a b nner with her initials on the banner and tear drops coming off of it in blood. My 17 year old daughter (also a virgin) who is a model had a cross put on her right shoulder and will eventually have in memory of Alica put around it and she also had her nam "Randi" put on her left leg with a rose under it vertically. I had a tattooes done everytime I found out I was pregnant and then some. However, I never had one put on my chest, for some reason, after my daughter died I realized that that was the reason, so I could put her picture right there as close to my heart a it could be. And you are absolutely correct people who have tat's don't care if someone else doesn't - and it should work the same way for those of us that do have tat's others shouldn't care or assume anything from them (but unfortunately they do). Tha is completely their problem. Keep it up - we need more people like you and I and all the others with ink in the world and less like those who are bothered by them, and maybe the world would be a better place to live in. |
