PLOT: A holy prophet (Kevin Deas) saves a village from famine and false prophets. An oratorio, which is a choral concert performed as a sort of play, with soloists playing various characters.
HISTORY: Members of the CCC chorus (including Dr. Jim Hudson and myself)
joined the Corning-Elmira Musical Arts company (including full
chorus and orchestra) for this concert that took place only hours after
certain members of our chorus (including me) had finished our
last performance (an afternoon matinee) of "Another Opening, Another Show."
Excerpts from Act I of this show were later performed at a
subsequent CCC chorus concert, held at the college on May 1, 1996.
Only the CCC chorus, backed by a piano, were involved.
