I've come up with a simple plan to stop and reverse global warming. Now, in high school, or elementary school, or somewhere, we all learned that planets closer to the sun, such as Venus and Mercury, have warmer temperatures. Therefore, in order to fix global warming, all we need to do is move the Earth's orbit about one-fourth of a mile farther from the sun. (It may be a slightly smaller or larger distance; I am no scientist.) I'm not sure how this could be effected, but I'm sure someone at NASA could figure it out. They'd probably just have to make the sun exert a smaller gravitational pull on the Earth or something. This would be so much more effective than trying to curtail the Greenhouse Effect. It's a good cause; don't get me wrong, but not very many people are participating in it. Also, it'd be a nice challenge for scientists, since almost everything has been discovered already. Someone really should look into this. |
