The Bird River races through rainforest
tracts which display a typical lush mixture
of species.
The mouth of the Inglis River,
Wynyard. Situated 18 kilometers
west of Burnie, wynyard is one of
the North West's most attractive

towns.
IIt takes  fire free centuries to nuture
a rainforest environment like this one
of the Nora River.

Aurthers.
Meetus Falls lie forty kilometres
from Swansea, off Lake Leake
Road to campbell Town. access
is at weekends only, by private road.
The sandstone Cliffs, Maria Island
National Park, East Coast. This
attraction feature adorns the western
shore, a little south of the main settlement at Darlington
.
Limestone formations, Marakoona caves, west of Mole creek.
A spreading series of caverns, this subterranean feature- much
loved for its glow - worms- is one of the many in the limestone-
riddled hillsides around Mole Creek. It is open to the general public.
