Loverboy Band stats
First hit the charts in 1980 with their self-titled album and the hits "Turn Me Loose" and
"The Kid is Hot Tonite". In 1981 they released Get Lucky and the singles "Working for the
Weekend", "When It's Over", "Lucky Ones", and "Gangs in the Street", which catapulted them
to headliner status. Their third album, Keep It Up, had the singles "Hot Girls in Love" and
"Queen of the Broken Hearts". In 1984 they took a break from touring to write and record
"Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" to support the Olympic Games in LA. Next came Loving' Every
Minute of It and Wildside with the singles "This Could be the Night", "Lovin' Every Minute
of It", "Notorious", and "Love Will Rise Again". Also recorded "Heaven In Your Eyes" for
the Top Gun soundtrack and this was a top 10 hit, and Mike Reno recorded "Almost Paradise"
for Footloose with Ann Wilson from Heart. A compilation of their hits, Big Ones, was
released in 1989, featuring the new singles "Too Hot" and "Ain't Looking for Love". Their
most release release is VI.
