This page is in honor of: Derek Davis, Jamey Pacheco, Ron Freschi, Danny DeLaRosa, Robb Reid... and now Eric Pacheco, the younger brother of Jamey. Eric is playing bass with the band now, as Robb decided not to continue touring.
American Blues Box
Derek and Jamey have a new project and have released a five-song EP, available through www.perrisrecords.com. Here's the quote from Perris: "Derek Davis & The American Blues Box 5 Song Ep Cd Blues rock Derek Davis and the American Blues Box remind you of a steam engine freight train. Its smoke stack screaming down the empire state line, along the back waters juke joints of the Mississippi delta, across the Yazoo valley, strait through Clarksdale. Its destination? Uptown Chicago circa 1959. Derek Davis (Babylon A.D. vocalist) and the American Blues Box is a new project Derek and Jamey have formed featuring Rob Lansing on Bass and Danny Newman on the Harp and Sax. The style is Soul Injected Blues played with all the angst and power Babylon A.D. has proven to display over the past decade.

The CD is available from the online retailers. See the official site for the list. It's a pretty cool album, but yah, of course it is! The band was on the radio out there in CA in early Feb. Anyone get it taped and want to share??? Please??
I can't wait to see them come my way. (How long do you suppose I have to wait before they make it to the Upper Midwest????)
