March 13, 1999 ENTRY

Wow, it's been one year since I first began this page! The first day it was called, "Happy Sunshine" and had animated GIF's of frogs and the infamous dancing baby. Also there was a brief paragraph about what I was intending to do with this page. Much of which I have done already.
I thought about it a bit and came up with "Slipstream Overground". Basically because fo the U2 song called Zooropa. Towards the end of that song, it says, "In the SLIPSTREAM, let's go, let's go...OVERGROUND, take your head out of the mud baby." I instantly thought, yeah, take your head out of the mud baby, let's go, SLIPSTREAM OVERGROUND. I know it's silly, but I wanted something unique.
Well, I'm gonna start the work to add more things to my webpage, check the Favorites section from my main page for the new additions.

FYI: The webcam is down due to technical difficulties. In other words it's not working properly. All hope is not lost though, it may be back again someday. I'm also considering putting up the 5 or so vidcaps that were once on the webcam page in the meantime.
Also, I've decided to keep a log of what I write in here, rather than to delete it when I update this page.
I'm coming up on my webpage's one year anniversary. At that time, there will be a grand re-opening. I will have new pages of links set up, there will be possibly new sections, maybe some new information??? Be sure to come back and see for yourself on March 13th. There might even be a contest, hehe. :)
In the meantime, I will be going over my page this weekend, looking for mistakes, broken links and try to get things in a little more tip-top shape.
Also, I saw 20/20 Wednesday with Monica Lewinsky and Barbara Walters. I thought it was pretty interesting to actually hear and see her talk and tell her story. She seemed very intellegent and honest.

Hope you had a safe and happy holiday! I know I did.
Right now I'm on vacation and the snow us really coming
down. Temperatures have been in the teens at best, and
there's about two feet of snow out there now.
I now have a webcam up. It's down today though due to
technical problems, but should be up later tonight or
tomorrow. Basically all it is is me, my friends,
occasionally my cat, just hangin' out. CLICK HERE to enter. The image
usually will only update once per day, but sometimes more
if I'm bored. I'm also working on making an archive of the images going back a week or so. Look for that by next
week.
If any links on this page don't work, don't despair, I'll
fix them all soon. I hadn't had the time lately, but now
that I'm on vacation I'll be making a few changes around
here. Nothing too drastic, just making sure everything
works, etc.
