New House

Stuff to Buy

Hard Land

The band's latest (2001). An 8-song lp featuring the title track and 7 all-new songs:

  • 1. Sue's Anne
  • 2. Jonestown
  • 3. Hard Land
  • 4. Sallie Jones
  • 5. 40 Days
  • 6. Iron Brigade (July 1, 1863)
  • 7. 2-4-6
  • 8. Big Blue (Jet Airplane Crash)

"Hard Land" is the story of John D. Lee and the Mountain Meadows Massacre. Without a doubt, the darkest chapter of Utah history (1857). Rampaging Mormons and Indians killed dozens of settlers on their way to California. Lee, loyal Mormon and Brigham Young's godson, was left holding the bag and was executed on the site of the massacre.

"Hard Land" is available on 12" long-playing vinyl for $12.00 (USD).

Land of Opportunity

You can also buy the band's first release (1998), a 3-song cd single that includes "TV Sucks in Mexico" and features mariachis Luz de Luna (Calexico) and Trent Harris' QuickTime film:

"Land of Opportunity" is available on cd-rom for $5.00 (USD).

T-Shirt

There's also a t-shirt with original pen and ink drawing by Utah artist, Cal Lloyd for $10.00 (USD).

Politics of Time/History

In the meantime, the band is self-producing this Black Flag/Minutemen tribute (on 7" vinyl). It will feature "San Pedro" and, hopefully, a line or two of spiel and flying bass solo by Mr. Watt, his own, bad-self:
  • 1. San Pedro
  • 2. Know Your Place

  • 4. Lost Weekend

Come Again

Pre-production has started on this completely different, more "Euro" sounding project with reflections on power and genetic heritage.
