This page is dedicated to one of the premier local bands in central Pennsylvania, CLOVE. With lots of hard work, sweat, and perseverence, this band has carved a niche for itself in the local club scene... and beyond.
DISCOGRAPHY
It's been said that the only constant in life is "change". Well, it's certainly been a year of change for this dedicated band of muscicians. One of the clubs that was always packed for CLOVE shows, "Thoroughbred's" in Grantville, decided not to feature bands anymore. That was tough to handle itself, but pales in comparison to what was to happen shortly thereafter.
Due to creative differences, three of the band members moved on to work on other projects. It was a devistating blow to founding members Dave and Jen Ceretta, not to mention the loyal followers who grew to love the antics and interaction of the bandmates. They seemed to complement each other so well. I know when the breakup was announced, it felt like my best friends were getting a divorce, and I suppose that's not far from what really happened.
But up from the ashes rose something new. The name may have stayed the same, but the sound and energy was definately something new and unprecedented. CLOVE was back in action, and ready to once again make it's mark on the musical world!!
CLOVE is always growing... always learning new songs and coming up with different ways to entertain the crowd. Maybe that's why I like them so much... it's never the same show twice!! And with the added exposure from magazines (such as Unsung Hero) and radio play, CLOVE is definately a band on the rise! Better catch them now, while you still can!!
