Q. You wrote Janie in the bathroom, did you wrote any songs on crush like this?
Jon: no, not with this album (laughs)
Q.You wrote a punchy rock 'n' roll album?
Jon: yeah, it's a rock 'n' roll record, we have never written so many songs (60) and we never recorded so long It's a rather happy record, an optimistic one
Q. What happened to sex sells?
Jon We got together in september 98 and had written 30 songs for the record, The title sex sells was lost because the song was lost. But it'll be a b side
Q by arjan from bjf; Was it hard to make a selection of songs for the album?
Jon, i don't think so , we picked the songs that we wanna play live
Q Were is the tour gonna take you?
Jon Mostly europe
Tico : Europe fans are educated fans, once you get to them , you have them forever
Q how will a band like bon jovi fit in a heavier rock scene?
Jon we have been around for so many years. You see peole in the audience who have attended 50 or 70 show, you started to know them, it's like seeing old friends again
Q is there gonna be a competition were fans can be on stage
Jon, that's a good idea
QThe lyrics of older seems that you are in midlife crises?
Jon; AT MY AGE???? I love older, and no, i'm not, i feel very confortable in my shoes.
Q something about the title crush?
Jon there are many ways of seeing it; crush like i've got a crush on you or crush like bon jovi crush on europe It meens different things to different people, that the great thing about it
QDo you consider a boyband?
Jon;,No, we are a MEN band, laughs a lot, we are not a boyband BUDDY (everybody laughs)

Jon; this album went down so easy that we thought we messed it up
